Spring and Purpose
Updated: Mar 29
The season of PURPOSE. My pain, your purpose. I line from the Matthew West song, "My Story, Your Glory. I heard this song recently and now listen to it at least once daily. It has been a while since my fingers ran across this keyboard. I finished my Master's Degree program in December, and it feels so freeing. Every night, I have time to lay down with Laney and read Junie B: Jones and The Magic Treehouse. I never realized how busy I was. A season of busyness and overwhelmingness. We made it through, but it was with a few growing pains. Each of us learned something. I told someone last week that I had not written in a while. I felt like I needed more content. So I started reading a pleasure book on Friday, "The Four Winds" by Kristin Hannah. WOW. I can not put it down. A novel about the Great Depression and a strong-willed woman Elsa: I will let you know all about it when I complete it.
I took off work the whole week to enjoy Spring Break—the first time in my adult life that I wanted this week. So far, Laney and I have gone to the Pioneer Woman in Pawhuska, OK, had a slumber party, and tomorrow, we leave for Branson. The weather is typical rain and more rain and little sunshine. But, we are making our sunshine.
More to come, now that I have more time to dedicate to the blog; who knows what this new season holds, but one thing is sure, Tulips and all things Spring. Enjoy!
