A Year of Obedience and Faith

Well, it has been One year since the beginning of Tenacious Talisha. After a long year of transition, I feel my calling and purpose is to share my story. I have always been a person that believes in being tenacious and a planner. However, over the last year, I have learned that no matter how much I plan, God's timing is always better than my own and that sometimes it is better to take life daily. This next year of Tenacious Talisha will hold an ending to my Master's Degree program and my second year as a merchant. I often wonder if all these stories, whether long or short have inspired you the reader. I am thankful for everyone who discovers this page, and I pray you are left wanting more of Jesus.

Post: Welcome

"Something New"

I am sure you all are wondering what is "New"? It's a Fall in Love with Change. Fall is only a few days away, but I couldn't wait for it any longer. I love everything fall, from the smell of autumn leaves and apple cider to the Autumn Bath & Bodyworks candle burning in my dining room. So, As I begin the post, I reminisce about all the changes that have taken place over the last few months. So, how can I look at change with GRATITUDE? First, Change is a time for new beginnings.

An example is more time in God's Word. Second, more time to spend with my Laney girl and DJ. Third, I think as we move into this new season, it's a great time to think about Gratitude.

What motivates you to change? What inspires you to dig down and find the tenacity to act instead of settling? I am asking myself these questions as you are reading them. As I look outside, I can see my little girl being two again swinging. She has always loved to twirl. Thank you, Elisa and Anna. She has evolved into an intelligent kindergartener with confidence and radiance. Fall is the perfect time to change and start a new chapter. Most people do this on New Years Day, but I think now is the time to act. I have to admit resolutions were never really my thing.

SOMETHING NEW IS YOU!

You can start today. It only takes 21 days to break a habit. I can only do so much, but if we do it as a team effort, Success is just around the corner, or in 21 days. So, I am asking you to commit to making the change. For some accountability, you may post your commitment to change. It can simply be, " I will take 5 minutes to read my bible", or "I will write down one thank I am grateful for each day." I look forward to helping you achieve your goal and being a part of your journey. Thank you all so much for taking the time to visit my page. You are making me accountable for every visitor that shows up, or even a "like" appears on my blog. GOD IS SO GOOD!! GOOD THINGS HAPPEN WITH CHANGE. To end us on a positive note, here is a little scripture to start this change.

"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-- his good, pleasing and perfect will." -Romans 12:2
