A Year of Obedience and Faith

Well, it has been One year since the beginning of Tenacious Talisha. After a long year of transition, I feel my calling and purpose is to share my story. I have always been a person that believes in being tenacious and a planner. However, over the last year, I have learned that no matter how much I plan, God's timing is always better than my own and that sometimes it is better to take life daily. This next year of Tenacious Talisha will hold an ending to my Master's Degree program and my second year as a merchant. I often wonder if all these stories, whether long or short have inspired you the reader. I am thankful for everyone who discovers this page, and I pray you are left wanting more of Jesus.

Post: Welcome

Poetic Thursday

God is Near.

Every place I look, I see God is near.

I turn my head to the sun and see his grace and mercy shining down.

God is near.

I feel the summer breeze as he is calming my worries and telling me to let go.

God is near.

The birds chirp a song, and it reminds of his song and praises him all day long.

God is near.

The sunshine pours down, and I know he is looking down on me.

God is near.

I hear the water flowing from the fountain, and it is peace like his word is to my soul, for he is the one showering me with his love and grace.

God is near.

As the clouds pass by and by, I know it is his protection from things I cannot see.

God is near.

As each day pass and circumstances, I cannot control.

I know God is near and in control.

The future is unforeseen, but his love, grace, and mercy fill my soul.

God is near.

God was near then, and God is near now.

Jesus replied, “All who love me will do what I say. My Father will love them, and we will come and make our home with each of them.”-John 14:23
