A Year of Obedience and Faith

Well, it has been One year since the beginning of Tenacious Talisha. After a long year of transition, I feel my calling and purpose is to share my story. I have always been a person that believes in being tenacious and a planner. However, over the last year, I have learned that no matter how much I plan, God's timing is always better than my own and that sometimes it is better to take life daily. This next year of Tenacious Talisha will hold an ending to my Master's Degree program and my second year as a merchant. I often wonder if all these stories, whether long or short have inspired you the reader. I am thankful for everyone who discovers this page, and I pray you are left wanting more of Jesus.

Post: Welcome

HOPE AND FAITH.

It is late, and the rain is falling. It is a change of tide, and change of season, a change of life. As of lately, I have been busy with finals, job searching, and studying. As of this past Sunday, I finished my 7th MBA Class. It feels like I started this journey of pursuing my MBA in a tough season, so it only makes it suitable to finish it in a hard season. I see the graduation in my distant view, but I know my MBA will be complete in a matter of days. I wrote a poem about a year ago titled "The Day I was Suppose to Start My New Job," funny thing is I have a printed copy of it hanging to the left of my desktop screen. I am beginning to wonder if I should have titled it " the day I graduate with my MBA."

I have had a hard time blogging lately because I created this domain to motivate other ladies. With all my midnight writings, I am not sure whether it is doing, but one can hope. This brings me to another topic of "HOPE."

What is HOPE? Hope is all we have. Faith saves us, but we have hope that continually presses us forward to get through the day. So what is it that I am hoping for, one might ask? Well, I am hopeful in God, and his grand plan and that through trials gaining endurance will help me preserve to become rich on Jesus and see his grandiose plans come to fruition.

"For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs." - Zephaniah 3:17

I have leaned on this verse for a couple of weeks, and I keep seeing the words," He will take delight in you with gladness." "He will calm your fears."

Hope and Faith

It is with HOPE in Jesus that I can hear his voice, saying, " keep on keeping on.".

It is through my Faith in JESUS. I can be reassured he is going to bring me through the fire, without being burned." - Isaiah 43:2

It is through Faith that I know, "the horse is prepared for the battle, but the victory belongs to the Lord."- Proverbs 21:31

It is through Faith I was saved. Faith saves you, but you must practice the Faith to continue to see the works of GOD. Ephesians 2:8

Faith believes in something we can't see and letting God be the pencil and me being the paper he has written my story on. Hebrews 11:1

If you want to know the heroes of Faith, I encourage you to read Hebrews 11. In this chapter, we see what Faith looks like in seasons of complex and circumstances of why God. I can tell you what you will see is taking the impossible and making it possible. He shows us what happens when we step out in Faith and let him do the work. I want you to see your Faith and believe in the impossible. Jesus will lead you through it IF he brings you to it.

I hope you see hope and Faith in this post. Please read the words and look them up. I want you to see that God led you to this page to feel encouraged in whatever you are going through. Don't let the circumstance overpower your Faith... God is with you, and He alone can pull you out of whatever you are going through and make something beautiful out of something so messy. Believe me when I say, " He has plans for you." breathe and read.

Love, Tenacious Talisha
