A Year of Obedience and Faith

Well, it has been One year since the beginning of Tenacious Talisha. After a long year of transition, I feel my calling and purpose is to share my story. I have always been a person that believes in being tenacious and a planner. However, over the last year, I have learned that no matter how much I plan, God's timing is always better than my own and that sometimes it is better to take life daily. This next year of Tenacious Talisha will hold an ending to my Master's Degree program and my second year as a merchant. I often wonder if all these stories, whether long or short have inspired you the reader. I am thankful for everyone who discovers this page, and I pray you are left wanting more of Jesus.

Finding Purpose and Hope Through Life's Challenges with God, Like Esther

Today has been a challenging day for me, but I find my purpose in God. I am reminded that even when things don't go as planned, God has a purpose for our lives. It's easy to feel lost and hopeless when facing obstacles and difficulties, but we can find comfort in knowing God is with us.

The story of Queen Esther is an excellent example of finding purpose in difficult circumstances. Esther was a Jewish orphan who King Xerxes chose to be his queen. However, when the king's advisor, Haman, plotted to destroy all the Jews in the Persian Empire, Esther faced a difficult decision. She could remain silent and try to save herself or risk her own life by speaking up and trying to save her people. Esther chose to take a stand and revealed her Jewish heritage to the king. She risked everything to save her people, and her bravery paid off. The king granted her request, and Haman was executed, saving the Jewish people from destruction. Esther's story reminds us that we can find purpose in God even when facing insurmountable obstacles. When we are honest about our struggles and turn to God for guidance, we can be filled with hope and strength to overcome our challenges. It's important to remember that sometimes things don't go as planned. We may face setbacks and disappointments, but that doesn't mean our purpose has been lost. Instead, our goal may be redirected or reshaped differently. In my own life, I have faced many challenges and setbacks. But through it all, I have found comfort in knowing that God has a purpose for my life. I may not always understand why things happen as they do, but I trust that God is leading me on the best path. As we face the challenges of today, let us remember the story of Queen Esther and find our purpose in God. Let us be honest about our struggles and be filled with hope and strength to overcome them. God has a plan for our lives, and when we trust Him, we can be confident that He will lead us on the best path.

"For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father's family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?"- Esther 4:14
