A Year of Obedience and Faith

Well, it has been One year since the beginning of Tenacious Talisha. After a long year of transition, I feel my calling and purpose is to share my story. I have always been a person that believes in being tenacious and a planner. However, over the last year, I have learned that no matter how much I plan, God's timing is always better than my own and that sometimes it is better to take life daily. This next year of Tenacious Talisha will hold an ending to my Master's Degree program and my second year as a merchant. I often wonder if all these stories, whether long or short have inspired you the reader. I am thankful for everyone who discovers this page, and I pray you are left wanting more of Jesus.

Post: Welcome

Fantastic Friday!

Hello Friday! How I've missed you. This week has been a long one, can you feel me? As Laney got up this morning, she said something pretty awful. It almost made me cringe...she said," momma, I don't like Friday???!!!" I said, girl, that is probably my favorite day of the week. So, as you can see, I have a not-so-morning person. But I am a little more excited to get the day going when I know it is Friday. So, I am coming to this glorious fall Friday afternoon from my lovely office chair, with Miss Laney watching Bluey... I am curious what you all want more of on my page. I know some of my dearest friends have said they love my page, but I need some feedback from my readers. I need to know ABOUT YOU! What gets you going? How do you like to spend your weekends and What are you reading? I know you are probably reading this going...come on, "T," we read your site but participation??? Well, isn't that how we take good to great? This morning as I was doing my bible study over Discerning the Voice of God, I thought about this page and what my heart wants for it.

I want this to be your place to come and be filled up if you are down, laugh with me and find gratitude in everyday life. By the way, I love the mornings sipping my coffee on the front porch wrapped up in my soft "OU" blanket. Which brings me to another question, "What's your favorite cup of coffee? What is the creamer that makes that so delicious? So, as you read this, I want you to imagine you and me

sitting on my porch, birds chirping and the smell of coffee in our cups, sharing our life and laughing. Happy Friday! See you on the flip side.
